Wilton Neighbourhood Plan

Supported by Wilton Town Council

In consultation with the local community, Wilton Neighbourhood Planning Group is working to create a Neighbourhood Plan that reflects the needs of the town.

What is a Neighbourhood Plan?

A Neighbourhood Plan is a community-produced document and will be used, along-side the Local Plan to inform planning applications and development of the Town.

A Neighbourhood Plan can:

  • Influence where new homes, shops, offices and other development should be built
  • Identify and protect important local green spaces.
  • Influence what new buildings should look like.

A Neighbourhood Plan should be a shared vision agreed with local residents, businesses, community groups and landowners so it is important to include the views of all of these stakeholders.

Wilton Neighbourhood Plan depends on your input, to find out more about the Wilton Neighbourhood Town Plan or to get involved visit the dedicated webpage at https://www.wiltonneighbourhoodplan.info/.

The Neighbourhood Plan is your opportunity to influence how Wilton is enhanced and protected through any new development undertaken in the Town.
