Little Historians with Big Questions
On Monday, the Council Chamber was buzzing with energy as we welcomed the brilliant Year 6s from Wilton Primary School!
The students got a VIP look at the town’s historic charters, dove into Wilton’s fascinating heritage and artefacts, met the Mayor and even managed to keep us on our toes with some fantastic questions!
The children even elected their own class councillors and a Mayor of Gandalf Class!
It was wonderful to see so much curiosity and enthusiasm for our local history! One of the children said it was “more interesting than the Houses of Parliament” (though the biscuits might have helped)!
Thank you for visiting, Wilton Primary — you absolutely brightened our Monday.
