How we spend your money

Wilton Town Council raises funds from local council tax payers to pay for the services and facilities it provides. The Council looks after the Cemetery, local parks and play areas, car parks, nature reserves, sports facilities, public conveniences and much more.
For the first time, Wilton Town Council's budget is explained in a simple to read leaflet: How We Spend Your Money.
We spend 6 6% of the money we collect on providing services in the community and 34% on staff and admin.
The Council also has a say on planning applications and promotes sustainability through the ‘We LOVE Wilton’ green initiative and our brand new Neighbourhood Plan.
