Solar Panels at Castle Meadow

As part of becoming a greener Town Council, and being responsible about the energy we use, Wilton Town Council have just purchased solar panels.  We are delighted to say these panels are currently being installed on the roof of the Pavilion at Castle Meadow and are looking great!

Being in an open position on the edge of the Castle Meadow the Pavilion is a perfect location for these panels and by signing up to the Government's current Feed-In tariff  the Town Council should save an estimated £487 annually, whilst at the same time playing our part in generating greener energy.
