Wilton Town Council expresses condolences upon the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
The Mayor of Wilton, Councillor Andrew Kinsey, on behalf of all the residents of Wilton, would like to express sincere condolences to the Royal Family, on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The Mayor of Wilton said, “Wilton Town Council is incredibly saddened to hear of the passing of the Queen, she selflessly devoted her life to her Country and her Commonwealth, and she will be sorely missed.”
All will be welcome to sign the Book of Condolences which will be located at the Parish Church of St Mary and St Nicholas, on West Street. Wiltshire Council will also be providing a book of condolence at Wilton Library during opening hours.
There will also the opportunity to light a candle at the Parish Church, which will be open between 10am and 4pm daily, and floral tributes may be laid in front of the Cloisters but please only leave unwrapped flowers no other tributes please.
